West Palm Animal Clinic & Boarding, is a full service, state-of-the-art, veterinary hospital with a small town feel - located just a 1/4 mile north of Okeechobee Boulevard on North Military Trail. The clinic was built in 1983 by Dr. Douglas McMichael and his wife Joan. Since May 1997, Dr. Michelle Durkee and her devoted, caring staff, have provided quality, state-of-the-art veterinary care to the pets of Palm Beach County. Official Event Veterinarian

Palm Beach County’s Largest Adoption Event

Since its inception four years ago, Dr. Michelle Durkee has been honored to be the official on-site event Veterinarian for Palm Beach County’s largest one-day adoption held at the PBC ConventionCenter - Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z), presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc. and Petco Foundation. Organized by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event is a collaborative effort of over 30 local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County. The past three C2Z adoption events found nearly 1,000 animals their forever homes.
